Hold My Hand

Timeline
February 2019 - April 2019

Roles + Fields
Sculptor

Methods
Physical computing + Arduino, alginate and plaster casting

This interactive sculpture explores the expression held in the shape of our hands and how we use them to communicate.
Our hands are one of the most expressive part of our body, oftentimes conveying thoughts and emotions before they’re cognizantly noticed.

This responsive project pokes at the types and intensities of emotions that touch can convey.

Viewers are encouraged to hold the hands on the pedastal. With varying positions and intensity of grip, the lights on the facing mirror will glow and dim in response.
